Teachers' Day

Every year, World Teachers' Day is celebrated to honor and appreciate the dedication, and love that teachers have for their students. The celebration was once again held in person this year. The Student Council organized Teachers' Day on October 5, 2022, from morning until noon, at Holy Family Montessori gymnasium.

Since it was the month of the Holy Rosary, the teachers and students prayed the rosary in the school gym as a tribute to the Blessed Virgin Mary. The program then officially began with opening remarks by Joseph Emmanuel Abrenica, president of the student council. Afterward, the activities, such as gift-giving and games for the teachers, began. The student council arranged a game called Hep hep hooray. Instead of saying "Hep hep hooray," they say "Holy Family." The second game, Trip to Faculty, is similar to the Trip to Jerusalem gameplay. All the teachers who joined had so much fun playing the game. Junior high and senior high school teachers prepared an intermission number as well. The teachers' performance was enjoyed and appreciated by the pupils. In return, the Explorator Club, Glee Club, Instrumentalist Club, and Montessori Dance Company presented their remarkable collaborative performance dedicated to our outstanding teachers. Eventually, awards were handed to teachers who were caring and inspiring. These honors are: The Moral Hero Award, Sugar and Spice Award, Soul of the Party Award, Indak Award, Mountain Mover Award, Out of the Shell Award, Eager Beaver Award, Firefly Award, Mover and Shaker Award, Champion Cheerleader Award, Anakula Award, Style Icon Award, Everdeen Award, Holy Heart Award, Sensational Storyteller Award, Dumbledore Award, Happy Camper Award, Aslan Award, Down-to-Earth Award, Jack-of-All-Trades Award, Born Optimistic Award, and the My Teacher, My Hero Award. The Teachers’ Day celebration was a success, and both teachers and students enjoyed the program.

Students express their warmest gratitude to their beloved teachers for their guidance and support. They are the ones who teach and guide students in improving and learning skills that they may utilize in their daily life.
