Maria Montessori Day

“The children of today will make all the discoveries of tomorrow.” This is one of the many influential sayings of Dr. Maria Montessori, founder of Montessori Education. She has made significant contributions to the field of education, and her way of teaching has inspired different parts of the world. Her method has paved the way for a better way of learning.

 With this, Holy Family Montessori successfully commemorated “Maria Montessori Day” on the 31st of August 2022 in honor of Dr. Maria Montessori. The said event has two parts, a morning celebration for grades 7, 10, and 11; and an afternoon celebration for grades 8, 9, and 12. Like the previous years, every student relived the life of Maria by watching a short film. Afterward, intermission numbers, games, and other activities are prepared by the school organizations for all the Montessorians to enjoy. The students showcased their talent through the intermission number and had a big laugh because of the games.

          The student body participated in activities where you could learn more about Dr. Maria Montessori while also having fun. The Montessori students enthusiastically took part in the celebrations, making it a wonderfully enjoyable day.
