Christmas Party

Christmas is the season where we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, which is held every December 25. Last December 15, the HFM Junior High School students held their Christmas party. Montessorians prepared so much for the said event and were all excited for it to be their first time celebrating Christmas with their friends after two years of dealing with the pandemic. Montessorians had so much fun cheering for their friends and classmates while playing the prepared games.

For the Christmas Jingle Competition, the Grade 9 students won and received a certificate and a token of 2,000 pesos from the HFM’s Directress, Mrs. Juanita P. Alday. It was then followed by the traditional "exchange gift." Afterwards, the students enjoyed delicious and mouth-watering meals with their classmates and teachers. The birth of Christ is indeed joyous and heartwarming, especially knowing the sacrifices of St. Joseph and Mary for their son, Jesus Christ. The same way how the SC Officers and teachers planned and prepared the celebration to provide the Montessorians with a memorable Christmas party.

Meanwhile, the Senior High School students won’t also miss out on their own party, won’t they? As an annual celebration for the students of Holy Family Montessori, they celebrated their Christmas Party last December 16, 2022. The bright atmosphere was felt throughout the campus, which was topped off with decorations unique to the Christmas season.

To spice it all up, the traditional "Panuluyan" was presented by the Drama Club, on which they showcased the story behind the birth of Jesus Christ. After that, there were also several acts from the Montessori Dance Company and Glee Club, and such fun and exciting games were prepared for the students in Grades 11 and 12. As for their "monitos and monitas," students from each section were called upon the stage, and some described whom they picked.

Christmas is indeed the most wonderful time of the year. It is the season when the world feels more beautiful and brighter. Everyone's hearts were really filled with love and joy. Oh well, it’s Christmas, after all.
