Constantly Moving On

Times have passed yet we still recollect,
Those times we once experienced
Always remembered, forever sheltered
In our brain and our heart, stored impact.
Changes we weren't expecting,
Yet as we blink they are continuously happening
An overwhelming thought about each event
Yet acceptance should linger over things that are now different.
The pandemic that has definitely changed
A persona we once held, we once retained
Not everything is a relief,
As some may be a painful grief.
Time is an ongoing motion
Without moving on, you will surely be stuck upon,
Those things that are temporary, things that should be let free
It isn't easy, and it will never be.
Some things are just meant to be memories
Those we cling into, aren't as stable as we think so
Every moment, a sudden change can happen too
Always feel and appreciate each moment,
Not everything will remain, as nothing else could ever be permanent.
